Advanced Server Metrics and End-User Demographic Data
Web site reporting tools help you understand your core user base. A very important tool you can use to improve the performance of your web site, is to effectively track specific data points to determine where improvements can be made to your content or product offerings.
Analytic software applications, such as Google Analytics or Omniture, track detailed metrics, including the areas of your Web site that are successful, and those that require improvement. Web analytics can also ascertain how long visitors stay on your site, detailed technical information about your users, and the specific routes they used to arrive at your site, e.g., what search engines or web sites.
