Career Opportunities - Network and Systems Administrator
Inetz, a Salt Lake City based web development company founded in 1997, is looking for full time System Administrators in a LAMP environment to help maintain networks, web sites, and web applications in high traffic / high security environments.
Required Skills
- 1-3 years of professional Linux/Unix Administration experience required
- Experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Apache, MySQL, Postfix, and BIND
- Experience scripting/debugging in PHP, Perl, Ruby, Python, and Shell scripts
- High-level understanding of routing, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers
- Solid knowledge of command line interface
- Knowledge of best security practices, encryption, security scanning, and PCI Compliancy
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot data center hardware and servers
- Must have the ability and desire to work within a team driven environment and be responsible to work independently
- Previous experience as a Linux Administrator in a web-hosting environment preferred
- Must be able to pass FBI Background Check
- Computer Science or other college degree beneficial but not required
- Windows system administration beneficial but not required
